Role Model

After careful consideration, my family and I have decided not to seek reelection for the senate seat I currently hold. It is my intention to finish the next session with honor, as work remains in the areas of transportation, education and protecting the rights of all the citizens of Utah It has been an honor to serve the people of the 14th District, as so many of you have been so kind to my family and I. I’ve also enjoyed my association with incredible men and women, who faithfully serve the people of this great state.

My family and I have made this decision based on several reasons, including the fact, we are moving back to the east coast to be closer to my aging parents; closer to where my firm operates; and the opportunity to be a part of Frank’s experience, as he’s chosen to be a student athlete at Duke University. Being able to watch him play basketball at Duke University is a dads dream, which I will now be able to realize. I am grateful for my time in the Utah State Legislature and wish this state well, as it moves into the future.
